IAAMOAC is his original motto, at least seven years old (see
http://www.davidbrin.com/parting.html but I think I remember him using
it before that).  CITOKATE is much more recent, although His Brin-ness
has been talking about the idea behind it for a long time.  The
earliest CITOKATE reference I can find is from 2005 at
