Jon--

Hi.  I like the '>' characters.  All you have to do
is count them to see who wrote what.  Maybe it's a
matter of what one's used to, but I bet they're pretty
standard.

The method you used a couple posts ago would work,
where you were putting the author's names in parentheses.
My one problem with it is that every line should have
had at least one '>', so it's clear that all the material
is quoted.  (I don't know what you're using, but
"paste as quotation" works pretty well in Thunderbird.)
