Traffic Analysis
Traffic analysis includes much of what is now called web analytics -- how many page views, visitors, etc. Advanced traffic analysis
infers the significance of people, messages, threads, topics and other features from their correlation to traffic metrics.
Think of it as estimating the size of a rock by measuring the ripples it creates when tossed in a pond.
